WIthin school district websites, look within website menu for tabs like "Job Opportunities" -- "Human Resources" -- "Open Positions". Some positions require taking entrance exams into college programs for teachers, or professional tests required for credentialing.

For local opportunities, look for websites of individual schools, school districts, or state counties. 

Also, teacher salaries range greatly depending on state or district factors. Most k-12 districts make their teacher salaries ranges publically available on their websites. Look within the Human Resources tab or search online on the district's direct website for phrases like salary scale -- salary schedule -- wage scale -- or salary range. 

 

ENTRANCE EXAMS & PRACTICE TESTS

Some positions require taking entrance exams into college programs for teachers like SAT or GRE. Other positions require additional exams for credentialing that may depend on the state requirements or the subject(s) to be taught.
