You decide how to prepare for the GED test.  Traditional classroom setting or digital.  Do you know your learning style?  Practice, practice, practice is key to ensuring success on your GED test.  Below are some online GED resources to help you for the exam.

The websites below will take you away form the GED library guide.

 

Learning Express Library.  Provides an interactive online learning environment.  To use Learning Express Library library database, you will need a Phoenix Public Library card. If you are a first time user, you will need to register. 

Once you register, click on All Centers located at the top of the screen.  Click on High School Equivalency Center.  Then click,Preparation for the GED Test or GED en Espanol.

Has practice exams, preparation courses, preparation en Espanol. Areas covered:

  1. Science
  2. Mathematics
  3. Language Arts - Writing
  4. Language Arts - Reading
  5. Social Studies
  6. Study Skills

Universal Class-Online Classes.  A library database that offers GED preparation. A Phoenix Public Library card is needed to access any of the following online classes.  First time users will need to register.

Once you log-in,  use the Course Catalog or navigation links located on your right side.  Use the search terms Test Preparation or look for the Test Preparation in the Areas of Study navigation links.  Provides:

  1. GED preparation for the essay
  2. GED preparation for the language arts, writing, part 1
  3. GED preparation for the math exam
  4. GED preparation for the science exam
  5. GED preparation for the social studies exam

Learn on your own time and at your own pace with our online classes. Or, prepare for a test with in the following areas and more:

  1. civil service 
  2. firefighting 
  3. nursing
  4. U.S. citizenship 
  5. high school skills improvement
  6. GED
  7. SAT 
  8. College entrance exams and graduate school exams.
