APA Publication Manual, 7th Edition

About APA Style

Developed by the American Psychological Association, this style is widely used in natural and social sciences, such as biology, chemistry, psychology and sociology.  It is also used in economics, business, and criminology. Citing a source in this style consists of two parts:

  1. An in-text citation (provides brief identifying information within the text)
  2. reference list entry (list of sources used which provides full bibliographic information).
