Welcome to the GED/Adult Education Success research guide! This research guide will help you find resources and classes to obtain your High School Equivalency (HSE) or General Educational Development (GED) certificate.
The scope of the materials and resources are focused on improving your skills in: reading, writing, math, science, and social studies.
You will also find information about where to take classes and tools to assist you with making contacts, GED and HSE preparation, study skills, and basic computer literacy.

Unauthorized GED Testing Center
South Mountain Community College (SMCC) is not an authorized GED testing center for the Arizona Department of Education, Adult Education Services. However, SMCC has collaborated with Friendly House to assist adult learners to quality educational opportunities to support GED success.
For authorized testing centers, use navigation tabs on your left labeled Classes and Testing Locations.
